“Along the Red”   For your daily dose of HDR this image of the mighty Red River of the North in Fargo, North Dakota.  It seems so peaceful now at about the eighteen foot level.  The city is in full flood fighting mode with the National Weather Service predicting thirty eight plus feet level.  All the trees and hillsides you see in this image will soon be underwater.

I like the image but the sun was so bright coming up that it blew the highlights out so it goes.

“Cliffs of Spearfish Canyon”   For your daily dose of HDR this image of the cliffs of Spearfish Canyon.  I converted this to black and white to give it a more dramatic effect.  Spearfish Canyon is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota not far from the city of Spearfish.

“Lake Farley”  For you daily dose of HDR this image of a lake in my old home town, Milbank South Dakota.  This image was captured the evening of the 2012 cancer walk event at the lake.  I was there to walk for my father who passed away from pancreatic cancer in May the same year.

I think he really would have loved this sunset.
