“House on Haunted Hill”  This image reminded me of my childhood in California.  My parents were divorced and my mother worked nights. My brother being older than me would make me stay up and watch this horror show and then he would run around the house scaring me.  You know how older brothers are.

“One Way Out” I took this image from inside a old water treatment plant.  It’s a spooky place and this door is supposed to be welded shut. Wait! What’s that I hear foot steps? Run! I think the welders have come early!

“Along the Red River” I took this image during the 2009 record flood in Fargo, North Dakota.  You can see that the home in the background has water in the basement.
In 2009 the Red River reached 40.78 ft and surpassed the record set in 1897 of 40.1 feet
I chose this image for today as the weather service just announced the Red River had reached flood stage of 18 ft and there is a 50 percent chance we may exceed the 2009 record level.  Volunteers from the community have bagged 3 million sandbags which are at the ready and being distributed as I write this.
We hope for the best but prepare for the worst but hey don’t worry this is Fargo.. United we sand.

Hey Dude it’s Sunny Brook from Kentucky. This old image is painted on a building in downtown Fargo, North Dakota.  I traced the history of this whiskey to around 1914.
I do not know when this mural was made but I would guess in the 1950’s

Driving the back roads of Minnesota I came upon this tree.  Shadows were falling all over and I thought it would make for a interesting capture.  I’m not happy with the sky as the sun was breaking through and well you can see the result.
