“Along the Red”   For your daily dose of HDR this image of the mighty Red River of the North in Fargo, North Dakota.  It seems so peaceful now at about the eighteen foot level.  The city is in full flood fighting mode with the National Weather Service predicting thirty eight plus feet level.  All the trees and hillsides you see in this image will soon be underwater.
I like the image but the sun was so bright coming up that it blew the highlights out so it goes.
Three exposer HDR processed in HDR Efex Pro, Lightroom 4 and Nik Define
Nikon D80 with Nikkor 18-135MM lens.

“Red River Geese”   For your daily dose of HDR this image of the Red River of the North as it slowing moves through downtown Fargo, ND. The geese were enjoying the warming water.  With the city now requesting one million sand bags in the next two weeks, this peaceful scene won’t last long.

“Shut Off Valve”   For your daily dose of HDR this image of a shut off valve at a old spillway.  The spillway is located in Spearfish Canyon in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.  I applied a Trey Ratcliff filter called Glassen Clean which I just purchased.  I think it renders a cool effect.

“Scenic Overlook”  For your daily dose of HDR this image from the Needles Highway overlook in the Black Hills State Park, South Dakota.  I converted this to black and white as I like the way it plays on the rocks, trees, and sky.
